Coba

I've been pretty bad about updating my blog but here's a little bit of an update of my Cancun vacation.  We arrived early in the morning which was great and after picking up our rental we headed to Tulum because as much as I love Cancun I love Tulum even more.   After an early check in at the hotel we drove to Coba -yay bucket list CHECK- \(^o^)/  I'm so glad we decided to go to Coba it is the only pyramid from all the Mayan ruins we've visited you can still climb in the Yucatan area.  As we arrived we could see the tip of one of the pyramids from the road (straight ahead).
The ruins are scattered through the jungle but with beautifully shaded paths which is why I recommend renting a bike its only about $3 but if cycling is not your thing you can rent a pedicab.  I highly recommend you save your energy on the walk if youre planning on climbing the big pyramid because it is steep and tall.  We rented a bike and I think it made it a whole lot more fun.

Be prepared to do a lot of walking if you decide to skip the bike rental & pedicab.

The pyramid is much taller than it looks and very steep but the view from the top is incredibly amazing.
