Fabric Flower Tutorial

Hello, here's a little fabric flower tutorial.  These cute little flowers have so many possibilities which is one of the many reasons l make them so often.

You take your fabric and a round object to trace a circle.  I traced a ribbon spool which makes an estimated 2'' little flower.

After tracing it, depending on the fabric you can either use scissors or a woodburner to cutout the circle.

Cut the circle out
It doesn't have to be a perfect edged circle because the edges will be covered in the center

Take a needle and thread and start stitching around the edge of the circle

Continue to stitch all the way around

Then pull the thread all the way and tie a knot

Hot glue a stud, button, or any cute little thing of your choice

Fabric Flower

Had some left over fabric from a previous project and instead of tossing it out I made a gorgeous little flower bow for my god-daughter.  There was enough fabric for various little flowers which has perhaps changed my mind about tossing out any fabric left overs at all in the future.  It may be the beginning of a fabric leftover hoarding issue... well maybe not but it will make me think it over before tossing out a good piece of fabric.
Here's a pic of one of the many little fabric flowers.
